Moeeny is a mobile application that informs users on how to utilize cash assistance and banking services, as well as facilitates automated communication channels between beneficiaries and cash providers to help quickly solve banking issues they encounter.


The Problem: Many Syrian refugees in Lebanon still struggle with using ATMs and banking services, which leads to large numbers of inbound phone calls and complaints. This is particularly an issue in Lebanon because a large component of UN aid to refugees comes in the form of cash assistance. Their first product challenge is to help 100 refugees figure out their banking issue without having to call the help line.
