Elevate is Lebanon's first social impact accelerator. Formed through a partnership between UNICEF and AltCity, and designed to complement the Bootcamp idea-stage startup training program, Elevate provides funding, customized trainings, specialized mentorship and more to top startup founders working to address critical challenge areas in Lebanon and beyond.

What is Startup Sprint?

Intensive four half-day training in organized in collaboration with Google Launchpad that will give your startup a massive boost in developing a business solution to a core challenge we have in Lebanon and globally through a collaborative and mentor-driven approach.

Who can apply?

Unlike other hackathons, there is no coding involved and no prior experience is necessary, you just need your brains and enthusiasm. Our experts and coaches will walk you through every step of the way. We especially encourage age diversity.

UNICEF Challenge Areas & 2017 Targets

Education

385,000 children to be enrolled in public formal education whose school supplies will be fully subsidized for 2017/2018.

Health & Nutrition

175k children under the age of five to be reached with routine immunization.

Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)

160k people in emergency settings to receive access to safe water and sanitation.

Child Protection & Gender-Based Violence

386,000 girls, boys, women and caregivers to be reached with a comprehensive package of child protection and gender-based violence prevention.

Social Inclusion

185,000 disadvantaged children to benefit from humanitarian winter assistance in 2017/2018.

Youth & Adolescents

35,000 youth to be trained on life skills, conflict resolution and healthy lifestyles.

Palestinian Program

38,000 girls/boys to be provided with support to access and enrolled in formal education (UNRWA schools, 2017/2018).
